At Quixote Farmshop

32870 Rincon Ranch Road, Pauma Valley, CA 92061

Spring 2027

This class is appropriate for ages 12 and up

Light bites and beverages (included) will be served at 11, followed by workshop. We will take our queue from our natural environment and paint items foraged from the orange grove as inspiration for our still life painting in the open air with beautiful natural light.
The term "en plein air" is French for "in the open air" and usually brings to mind grand landscapes, the core philosophy is simply painting from life in an outdoor setting. Instead of sketching a mountain, you setup objects like fruits, flowers outside in the natural light.

All painting supplies and instruction included
