This class is appropriate for ages 16 and up , due to the use of lye in the soap—If younger children are included, this will be the responsibility of the parent and the parent will be liable.

Light bites and beverages (included) will be served at 11, followed by workshop.

Always wondered how soap is made? Now is your chance to find out! It is so much simpler than you may have imagined! This one-hour class will teach you the basic chemistry of soap making. You will have a variety of dried botanicals foraged from the farm to decorate your soap with!

We will make bar soap the old fashioned way with lye, oils and fragrance. You will take home 4 completed soaps, for use in either the kitchen or bath! 

Additionally, we’ll teach you how to make your own surface cleaner using natural ingredients. You will be given a refillable glass spray bottle so you can make it over and over again from the comfort of your own home!

All materials will be provided
You will leave with a set of colorful scented soaps of your own design, recipe for making soap at home and all the inspiration that you will need to replicate the process from the comfort of your own home.
